The brief is what you are looking to achieve with the interior look of your property, we are very conscious of the fact that this is your project and we are there to help you.

Over the years we have worked on many types of projects for our clients and we have found that the initial and ongoing conversations regarding the direction that the project is taking is essential.

We ask you to share any Pinterest boards, where you will have gathered photos showing interiors that you really like. We also ask you to tell us about anything that you really don’t like, as we don’t want to set off in the wrong direction!

Before any of this, we meet with you to talk about your wish list, as we like to call it. This also gives us an opportunity to walk around the building and get a feel for the spaces.

We refer to the starting point as the Concept Phase. With all our projects, we like to start with a plan of the property, this may mean that a survey has to be taken, which is essential to accurately planning and reviewing the spaces, to solve existing issues or simply address new ambitions for furnishing, and functionality.

Our design proposals will be in the form of 3-dimensional computer-generated models allowing you to see our proposals in a realistic way, walking through the completed project, which leaves nothing to chance and allows any changes to be made and reviewed, avoiding costly mistakes. We also produce Mood boards which convey the look we are envisaging, and to show that we have fully understood the Brief.

Once this phase of our work is completed and agreed, the Design Development stage can begin. This is the stage of the project where we develop our designs into detailed working drawings.

During this stage, we also start liaising with any specialists that are either already working on the project or will be required as the project progresses, such as Architects, Structural Engineers, M&E Consultants, Building Contractors, Quantity Surveyors and specialist trades people.

Over the years, we have built up relationships with a trusted group of respected people that we know can produce work of the highest quality.

Drawings are produced, detailing any enabling/demolition or dilapidation works and proposals for Ceiling, Lighting and Electrical designs, along with producing Flooring and Finishes schedules for use by all trades during the work in progress.

This Drawing pack is produced, which provides detailed information on construction/manufacture and finishes for every aspect of our proposals. This allows us to gather cost proposals and issue to all specialist contractors involved, prior to work starting on site.

This is the most detailed part of our work, and it is also the most important as this is when details are resolved and work is commissioned, so it has to be right!

Another important part is the procurement of FF&E. As well as designing our own bespoke Furniture and Cabinetry virtue of our in-house design team, our expertise in resourcing and selecting FF&E– with the benefits of our long-standing relationships with our suppliers – allows us to procure items befitting of the project in terms of Quality, Style and budget.

The Final Stages of a project Construction & Completion are critical as there will be questions. This is why our team is on hand to answer any questions and ensure the smooth running of the project and work on site.

We can carry out all necessary works within the Project Manager / Principal Designer role as set out within the CDM Regulations.

Working closely with our clients and appointed contractors and specialists has ensured the successful completion of a multitude of projects over the years – with clients returning and recommending us to their friends.
